Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went in again. Even though I was upset, I still left a $10 tip and didnt receive so much as a thank you. I politely reminded them of my time sensitive plans and they just repeated for me to wait for them to finish.įinally at 5:30pm they called and told me to come pick my bike up. They were being short with me and seemed irritated that I kept calling and checking on my bike and told me to wait for them to call me when it was done. I called again at 3:30 to receive the same response and then again at 4 yet again with the same results They assured me it would be done before then.Īt 2:45pm I called to check the progress and they hadnt started. I told them I had an important bike trip planned and we were all leaving at 4pm. I dropped my bike off for a simple tire / wheel change at 1pm and they said there was one guy ahead of me and it would be out no later than 2-2:30pm. (Asking $17 parts + labor to change a flat is absurd, yet I still paid with a $20 bill and told them to keep the change, for a job that took them less then 3 minutes.) I been disappointed 7 out of 9 times at the customer service as well as the recently inflated prices of parts and more specifically, labor. Ive experienced terribly pretentious attitudes, laziness, and overall lack of customer care. Over the past 4 months I have been to Arriving By Bike a total of about 9 times. It pains me to leave this review on a shop that I love, but Im inevitably left with no choice. This establishment has really changed in the last couple years.
